Russian pensioners will receive pension supplement since January 1

From January 1, 2020, Russian pensions will increase. The Pension Fund budget provides for indexation of pensions for the next year ahead of inflation. The «Rossiyskaya Gazeta» informs about this with reference to the Pension Fund RF.

So, the pensions of Russians will grow by one thousand rubles a month. Payments will be indexed, as in the previous year, a month ahead of the deadline specified by law - not since February 1, but January 1.

Starting January 1, 2020, the average pension for non-working Russians will amount to 16,400 rubles per month. 40 million Russians will receive the supplement.

On April 1, 2020, state security pensions will be indexed by 7% in accordance with the pensioner's subsistence level. Four million working and non-working pensioners receive this type of pension.

Starting February 1, 2020, the monthly cash payment and cash equivalent of a set of social services will increase by 3.8%. It will affect 15 million citizens.
