First Investment Forum “Bashkortostan Calling!” will be held in Ufa

On December 19, the First Investment Forum “Bashkortostan Calling!”, which will consider effective investment policy formation in the region will be held at the Ufa Congress Hall “Toratau”.

“Representatives of federal executive bodies within the framework of which activities business development is supported, are invited to the republic as well as representatives of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, the Industrial Development Fund, and the Mono-Cities Development Fund,” the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkiria informs. “The key speakers will be the country's strategic investors, who will not only share their work experience but also offer ways to develop further the region.”

The program of the upcoming forum includes the presentation of Bashkortostan as a territory of free investment, the plenary session “Investing in Regions: Points of Growth and Best Practices”, the work of discussion panels, which will consider issues of economic development of the republic. Benefits and preferences for business will be discussed there.

“This year, the system for building communications between investors and the region’s leadership has changed,” stressed Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of Bashkiria Rustam Muratov. “Great efforts at all levels of government are aimed at improving the investment and business climate, preparing a convenient infrastructure with a special economic status, and adjusting the republican legislation to simplify the procedures for implementing investment projects.”

Within the framework of the forum, the first meeting of the Active Investors Club “Alga, Bashkiria!” is planned, during which an interactive dialogue will be held with successful investors already implementing projects in the republic.
