Direct railway service resumes between Ufa and Kazan

Starting on December 9, direct railway transportation will be launched between Ufa and Kazan. It was reported by the press service of the State Committee RB for Transport and Road Facilities.

From December 9, 2019, direct communication from Ufa to Kazan will be restored to improve the railway connection between Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.

Passengers will be able to leave Ufa on odd-numbered days in direct trains “Ufa-Kazan” as part of train No. 347Y “Ufa-St. Petersburg” to Ulyanovsk and then as part of train No. 125Y “Samara-Kazan”. Departure time from Ufa is at 11.57, arrival in Kazan is at 6.20, travel time is 20 hours 23 minutes.

A direct train will go from Kazan to Ufa together under No. 125G Kazan-Samara and 392U Moscow-Chelyabinsk on even days. Re-coupling will take place in Ulyanovsk. Departure time from Kazan is 21.20 Moscow time, arrival to Ufa is at 20.29, and travel time is 21 hours.
