Bashkiria took 33rd place in rating of regions with highest salaries

Bashkiria took 33rd place in the rating of regions with the highest salaries, according to a study by RIA Novosti.
The share of employees in the republic with a salary above 100 thousand rubles a month is now 3 percent. The share of employees with a monthly salary below 15 thousand rubles is 13.4 percent. The most common salaries in Bashkiria range from 18 to 41 thousand rubles.
The Chukotka Autonomous District heads the rating of Russian regions with the highest salaries. More than 32 percent of employees in this district receive salaries of over 100 thousand rubles.
The Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District is in the second place where the share of workers with a salary exceeding 100 thousand rubles is 31.7 percent.
Moscow closes the top three - 27.4 percent.
According to the study, the minimum share of Russians earning at least 100 thousand rubles is observed in Kabardino-Balkaria (0.7 percent). Approximately 0.9 percent of such employees are in Kalmykia, Mordovia, Pskov, Orel and Ivanovo regions.
As the study showed, in 25 regions of the country the share of people paid less than 15 thousand rubles per month exceeds 20 percent. Last year, there were 59 such entities.
Dagestan remains the leader of the anti-rating (34 percent). The study notes that nationwide about 11 percent of employees earn less than 15 thousand rubles.
As Bashinform News Agency informed, the average salary reached 35,779 rubles in Bashkiria in September 2019.
