UFA, 28 November 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Azat Gizatullin/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
In the Ilishevsky district of Bashkiria, construction of a dairy complex for 1600 heads of cattle began at Urozhay breeding plant LLC in 2019. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov was told that the farm in Urozhay was being built using new technology. It has a heat-insulated awning, concrete walls with insulation, heating pipes mounted inside the floors. It is planned to heat the farm with electricity, and in the coldest winter days — additionally with firewood. The owners of the farm say that such construction is much cheaper, and manufacturers of awnings and structures (by the way, also local ones) guarantee that the canvas will serve more than 25 years.
Local farmers are already showing interest in such prefabricated structures, as their construction costs are by 35-40 percent cheaper. Cowsheds for 1200 heads are to be built using the same technology at the Kuybyshev agricultural enterprise. Radiy Khabirov noted that the agricultural enterprise would be supported by the Government in obtaining subsidies and loans for the construction of a livestock complex.
Urozhay has already launched into operation a milking parlor with Israeli equipment Afimilk, one of the best herd management companies in the world.
The system automatically monitors the health of each cow — a bracelet is attached to the animal’s leg, which is read by the system. Besides, in the milking parlor, each milking machine has a mini-laboratory, which determines various indicators of milk.
The system also determines the time of insemination, the volume of milk from each cow, and in the coming months, when the program is fully operational, indicators for proteins, fats, and carbohydrates will also be measured.
This project was supported at the “Investment Hour” session on May 7. The farmers received support for the implementation of the project: a subsidy for the purchase of cows (compensation in the amount of 50 thousand per head), as well as compensation for part of the costs of building the building. A total of 479.1 million rubles of investments were allocated. According to the head of Urozhay company Aydar Mukharlyamov, in 2020, the farm plans to put into operation a building for 400 cows and a calf house for 800 heads.
Here it is planned to produce 13.3 thousand tons of milk (36.5 tons per day), an average daily gain of heifers is expected to be about 800 grams per day.
