Eggplant and sweet pepper will be grown in greenhouse farm in Bashkortostan

The Buzdyaksky greenhouse is known for its products throughout Russia, cucumbers that are grown in greenhouses are sold even in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The deputy head of the farm Shafoat Khabibrakhmanova told the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov that the construction began in 2011 and took place in several stages. The total production area of the complex is 9 hectares. The volume of investments is 1.5 billion rubles, of which 1 billion rubles are credit funds.
The greenhouse complex is equipped with automated control of mineral nutrition and microclimate. Cucumbers are grown according to the Dutch method - low-volume hydroponics on a mineral-cotton substrate using drip irrigation and electric lighting systems. It allows receiving products year-round. The yield of cucumbers is 100-120 kg per 1 square meter. The plant employs about 150 people, on average they get 20-25 thousand rubles a month.
According to Shafoat Khabibrakhmanova, in the future, it is planned to increase the area for growing indoor vegetables to 12 hectares, and increase the crop of plants to 14 thousand tons per year. The plans include the cultivation of tomatoes, sweet pepper, eggplant. The Head of Bashkortostan praised the modern, systematic approach to conducting agribusiness and noted that the republic would support such enterprises. Radiy Khabirov invited farm managers to one of the closest “Investment Hour” sessions, where it would be possible to discuss the prospects for the development of the greenhouse complex.
