Agricultural cooperatives revenue reached 1 billion rubles for 10 months in Bashkiria

For ten months of this year, the revenue of agricultural cooperatives of Bashkortostan exceeded 1 billion rubles. In 2017, this amount amounted to only 372 million rubles, last year 604 million. 277 cooperatives submitted their business reporting this year, in 2017 there were 60 of them.

“According to the results of the year, cooperatives will bring the economy 1.2-1.3 billion rubles. I believe this is only the beginning, our goal is at least 10 billion of the revenue that should go through agricultural cooperatives. The economic conditions created in cooperative business are a strong factor that keeps the population engaged in this activity. For example, in 2018-2019, only 15 cooperatives closed, which is significantly lower than in the regions across the country”, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted in his speech at the second congress of agricultural cooperatives of Bashkortostan.

He recalled that since 2018, a program of so-called revenue-generating projects has been introduced. Thus, according to the results of last year, 116 cooperatives were created under this program, which became full-fledged participants in the agricultural sector of the economy. According to the results of the competition, the total revenue amounted to 351 million rubles, including more than 52 million rubles - this is the share of co-financing from the initiative groups themselves. In 2019, another 108 cooperatives were established. The total amount of revenue-generating projects for 2019 was 336 million rubles, including more than 38 million rubles - the share of co-financing from the initiative groups themselves.
