Bashkortostan State Assembly explained that 2020 draft budget would be adjusted

During the consideration by deputies, the draft budget of Bashkortostan for 2020 and on a budget of the planning period 2021 and 2022 will be subject to significant adjustments. This was stated by Chairman of the State Assembly Konstantin Tolkachev after a public hearing on the budget bill. According to him, more than one thousand people attended the hearings. And there were many interesting proposals for spending budget funds.

“Reasonable initiatives have been announced related to the development of housing and public utility services, road infrastructure, housing for large families and orphans, and the provision of medicines for patients with rare diseases. All rational proposals will be studied and taken into account when preparing the final version of the budget bill. We can say that work on the budget of the republic in 2020 has only just begun. After adoption in the first reading, it will be considered again by all parliamentary committees”, the speaker of the republican parliament explained.

Regions are now waiting for the approval of the federal budget, which indicates the final amount for gratuitous receipts and subsidies allocated to entities.

“This will allow us to adjust the republican budget accordingly, providing for expenses in a slightly larger amount, including taking into account the recommendations of participants in public hearings,” said the Chairman of the State Assembly.

Recall that in 2020, the budget revenues of Bashkortostan were determined in the amount of 194.2 billion rubles, expenses of 216.2 billion rubles.
