Number of doctors increased by 371 specialists in Bashkiria in 2019

In Bashkortostan this year, the number of doctors working in medical organizations of the republic has been increased by 371 people. In primary care, this figure was 234. The ambulance service staff increased by 22 health workers.

The Minister of Health RB Maxim Zabelin at a briefing session in the Government said that this year, as part of the "Zemsky Doctor" federal program, 99 doctors of Bashkortostan would receive 1 million rubles each, ten paramedics will receive 500 thousand rubles. Payments must be completed by December 1. Another 72 paramedics will receive 500 thousand rubles each under the republican program “Zemsky Paramedic”.

150 doctors who were not included in the “Zemsky Doctor” program also received 1 million rubles each. This list includes eight more doctors who, together with their colleagues, received a payment of one million rubles. 135 highly specialized doctors were paid one million rubles each under a program initiated by the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. 1033 students who study in target areas will receive payments of 5 thousand rubles, and 416 residents will receive payments of 8 thousand rubles.

Radiy Khabirov noted that all support programs for health workers will be continued in 2020, and money in the budget is planned for this. The Head of Bashkortostan also mentioned that the problems of healthcare and primary care support were recently considered at a meeting of the State Council under the leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
