165 thousand cars enter Ufa every day

According to the Ufa Main Architecture Directorate, traffic at five entrances to the Ufa Peninsula is 165 thousand cars per day, despite the fact that about half a million cars are registered in the city itself.

The busiest is the south entrance from the airport side. 84 thousand vehicles pass through it daily, which makes up half of all inbound traffic and is comparable to the load on the Moscow Ring Road. The second busiest is the west entrance from the Zaton neighborhood, where the M-7 federal highway goes. Here an average of 45 thousand cars passes in 24 hours. Access through the bridge at the Kamennaya Crossing, which goes onto the M-5 highway near the village of Nagaevo, is crossed by 21 thousand cars. The smallest traffic is at the north entrance through the Birsky tract - 8 thousand cars a day, and the bridge on the Shakshinsky highway - 6.5 thousand cars.

The large number of cars entering the city daily is connected with the development of suburban construction, as well as work and study in the capital of a significant part of the so-called Ufa agglomeration inhabitants, which includes six districts of the republic adjacent to the capital: Blagoveshchensky, Iglinsky, Karmaskalinsky, Ufimsky, Kushnarenkovsky and Chishminsky.

The construction of new bridges can be a solution. At the southern entrance, in addition to the two existing ones, a third bridge is being built. Soon the construction of the bridge will begin in the alignment of Internatsionalnaya Street with access to the M-7 federal highway. Options for building a bridge across the Belaya River connecting Dema and Nizhny Novgorod are considered to unload the busiest southern direction, as well as a bridge project in the Kuznetsovsky Zaton with access to the Ufa - airport highway near the Metro shopping mall.
