Forum-session on northeast development will be held in Bashkiria

On December 6, the 2nd Interregional Forum on the Development of the North-East of Bashkiria will be held at the Yangan-Tau Sanatorium. According to the regional Ministry of Industry, the agenda of the event includes a plenary meeting, meetings of the Investment Council under the head of the republic, three thematic round tables on the development of agriculture, timber industry and tourism.

A list of agreements to be signed is also formed. These are documents on the development of inter-regional and inter-municipal cooperation, intentions for the implementation of investment projects, as well as agreements with enterprises regarding the development of agriculture.

The Development Corporation is considering signing agreements on the creation of an industrial park in the Salavatsky district.

Within the framework of the forum, the "Product of Bashkortostan" exhibition is organized with the participation of manufacturers of the north-eastern regions.

The northeastern subregion of Bashkiria is one of the most economically challenging. Over the past years, the government of the republic has been making efforts to give an incentive to its development. The largest project of the “100 objects to the 100th anniversary of the republic” program was a bridge across the Ufa river near the Karaidel district center, worth 4 billion rubles. The bridge is part of the road under construction, which will connect the northeast with the center of the republic, with federal highways, the railway and river ports.
