8 investment projects for 8.7 billion rubles is expected for completion in agribusiness of Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan, in 2019, it is expected to complete eight large investment projects worth 8.7 billion rubles. A number of projects using digital control systems or “Smart Farm” will appear in the republic.
The largest industrial milk producer in Russia, the “EkoNiva” agricultural holding, founded by German entrepreneur Stefan Duerr, is completing the construction of the Semeno-Makarovo livestock breeding complex for 2800 cows and feedlots for 3200 heads of dairy cattle, with a production capacity of 26 thousand 700 tons of milk per year, Ramil Nuriakhmetov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture, reported at the “Bashkortostan Spatial Development Concept” strategic session.
According to him, the agricultural enterprise "Ashkadarsky" is completing the construction and reconstruction of dairy farms for 800 heads of cattle with the introduction of the Milkline system, electronic herd management. “Krasnaya Bashkiria” agricultural enterprise launches a robotic farm in the Abzelilovsky district. The entire production cycle - milking, monitoring the health status of cows is automated by the Dutch Lely system. The farm will also be equipped with feed robots and automatic cleaners.
“This year there will be a historical record for the acquisition of about 10,000 heads of cattle by livestock breeding complexes,” said the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
In Bashkortostan, other investment projects are also being implemented that will increase the volume of livestock and poultry production up to 500 thousand tons. In particular, “BMK” LLC is engaged in the construction of a livestock farm for raising and fattening pigs. The total capacity is 7000 tons of pork in live weight per year. The pork is planned to be sold to meat processing plants, shops in Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk, Samara, and Ulyanovsk regions. The planned project cost is 687 million rubles, 228 million has already been invested.
The Ural meat company is building a modern pig complex with a total capacity of 15 thousand tons of pork in live weight per year. Investments will amount to about 3 billion rubles, 758 million were invested.
The region also plans to build 10 feedlots for 50 thousand heads of cattle. And finally, after a long downtime, turkey meat production is resumed at the “Ural” poultry complex in the Meleuzovsky district.
