Bashkiria took third place among regions in sales of Russian cars

Bashkiria hit the top three among the regions in sales of Russian cars.

In January-September of the current year, 13.4 thousand cars of domestic brands were sold in the republic, according to the data of the Avtostat analytical agency. It is the third indicator in Russia after the Samara Region (15.5 thousand cars) and Tatarstan (14.6 thousand).

As the agency informs, the market volume of new passenger cars of domestic brands in Russia amounted to 258.7 thousand units for nine months of 2019. This is 2% more than the same period last year.

The five regions where the domestic auto industry is particularly popular include Moscow (10.3 thousand units) and Sverdlovsk Regions (9.2 thousand units). The Top 10 is closed by St. Petersburg and Moscow, where 7.6 thousand new domestic cars were sold in the first nine months of 2019.
