“Bashkortostan Calls!” Business Forum will be held in Bashkiria

The republic plans to hold the first "Bashkortostan Calls" business forum. It will address issues of an innovative approach to the investment policy of the region, the awareness of the entity, branding of the territory, as well as Russian and international practices of investment activity development. A separate event of the forum will be a meeting of the “Alga, Bashkiria!” Active Investment Club, where a conversation will take place with major promising investors already implementing projects in the republic.

At a briefing held by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of Bashkortostan, Rustam Muratov, they also discussed the concept of holding an interregional business forum in the north-east of the republic in December 2019. Given the economic specialization of the territory, the program includes round tables on the development of agriculture, forestry, and tourism. The key event will be a meeting of the Investment Council, with consideration, inter alia, of issues related to the development of industrial, agricultural and technoparks in the republic.

The briefing participants reviewed the proposals for the Bashkortostan Business Calendar for 2020. It now includes more than 200 events planned for the holding and participation of the region next year.
