Bashkir Abzakovo ski resort hit Top 3 best for season-opening

The Bashkir "Abzakovo" ski resort entered the top three ski resorts, the best for opening the season for skiing and snowboarding in late autumn, according to the TurStat website.

The top five Russian resorts that are popular for opening the winter season with skiers and snowboarders include: Sheregesh in the Tashtagol district of the Kemerovo region, where the ski season opens on November 16; Sunny Valley Resort in Miass, Chelyabinsk Region (November 9), Abzakovo Resort in the Beloretsky District of Bashkiria (November 2), Belaya Mountain in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Region (November 23), and Arkhyz in Karachaevo-Cherkessia (December 1). The rating is based on the analysis of tourist popularity and the infrastructure of resorts.

In early November, snow formed in Bashkiria. This week it has become warmer in the region. In Abzakovo, it reached the highs of +5 - +7 C. It will snow again on Saturday, November 9th.
