Installation of robotic milkers is nearing completion at "Krasnaya Bashkiria" farm

The installation of the country's first robotic dairy complex is nearing completion at “Krasnaya Bashkiria” (Abzelilovsky District), Lely company, manufacturer of robots for livestock informs.

The agricultural enterprise is building two new tent barns with an area of 6.4 thousand square meters each. Six Lely Astronaut A5 milking robots and three Lely Discovery Collector 120 vacuum cleaning robots will be installed in them. It is planned to place 800 cows of the black-and-white breed in premises on loose keeping. The farm should produce 7.2 thousand tons of milk annually with estimated productivity of 9 thousand kg per year from each cow.

The total cost of the investment project is about 420 million rubles. The project is being implemented with the active support of the government of the republic. The agricultural enterprise will be able to use subsidies of 50% for the purchase of robotic equipment for dairy farms, the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
