Bashkiria held 2nd place in Volga Federal District in terms of total housing commissioning

According to the results of nine months, Bashkiria held the second place in the Volga Federal District in terms of commissioning the total area of housing and moved from 3rd to 5th in terms of commissioning of housing per person (382 sq. m per 1000 people).

As the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports, in January-September, more than 1.55 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the republic - 19.3 thousand apartments and individual houses.

9348 own houses were built at owners’ expense or with the help of loans, with a total area of more than 1 million square meters (an average of 107 sq. m per house), or 70% of all housing (+ 1.8% by 9 months of 2018).

The rest housing construction is accounted for developers- legal entities - 9952 apartments with an area of 513.3 thousand square meters (an average of 51.5 sq. m. per apartment). The increase in the construction of apartment buildings amounted to 36%.
