“Geopark Toratau” Center is established in Bashkiria

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, signed a decree establishing the autonomous non-profit organization - “Geopark Toratau” Center for Science, Education, Ecology, Culture, and Tourism.

The founders of the non-profit organization on behalf of the republic are the State Committee for Tourism of Bashkortostan and the “Congress Hall of Toratau”.

According to the document, the newly created center will develop the charter of the company, submit it for approval, and ensure its registration with the Ministry of Justice of Russia for Bashkortostan.

Recall that at the beginning of October the “Toratau” Bashkir Geopark was first presented at the international level at the 15th Conference of UNESCO European Geoparks in the Spanish Seville.

The next step should be the development of the Toratau Geopark infrastructure for a comfortable visit by tourists and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
