Bashkiria Ministry of Labor announced average size of unemployment benefits

The average unemployment benefit in Bashkiria in September reached 7,363 rubles or 70.6% of the cost of living for the able-bodied population.

“The share of recipients of unemployment benefits in the minimum amount in the region was 20.6%, the maximum - 41%,” Rosa Kuzmenko, press secretary of the Republican Ministry of Labor, told Bashinform News Agency.

According to the latest data from the ministry, the number of unemployed in the republic, in accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization, fell to 83.4 thousand by the beginning of October. Of these, more than 18 thousand are officially registered unemployed.

The economically active population of the republic, according to preliminary sample labor force surveys for an average of 9 months of this year, is about 1.9 million people.
