Bashkiria budget will spend 73 billion rubles on education in 2020

The budget of Bashkiria plans to spend 73 billion rubles annually on education till the year of 2022, it follows from the project of the Ministry of Finance of the republic for the next three years. The document was submitted to the regional government. Of these, 52 billion rubles will be funds of the republican budget, 21 billion - funds of local budgets. The priority areas of financing are national projects, the creation of new places in schools, the organization of a single-shift study regime. Two billion rubles is allocated for the creation of 3.2 thousand places in kindergartens and nurseries.
The “Digital educational environment” project will be financed for 228 million rubles annually. Each year, it is planned to build or repair 48 gyms in rural schools; subsidies of 30 million rubles will be allocated annually to local budgets on this spending.
Over three years, 252 school buses will be purchased to deliver children to study from remote villages. In 2020, 107 million rubles are provided for 60 buses, and then 170 million rubles for the rest of the fleet.
200 million rubles are annually given for schools to provide anti-terrorism security - installation and set-up of surveillance and alarm systems.
From 0.7 billion rubles in 2020 and up to 1 billion in 2022 goes to strengthen the material and technical facilities.
To stimulate teachers in rural schools, according to the decision of the head of the republic, payments are envisaged: annually 100 grants of 600 thousand each. As well as the republic will receive 48.4 million rubles within the framework of the federal program “Zemsky Teacher” for lumpsum payments. Total, 255 teachers will receive financial support.
Additionally, 388 million rubles will be allocated annually to improve the quality of school meals, based on an increase in students with disabilities (designed for 3 thousand children).
Scholarships will be indexed by 4% for students and pupils.
Compensation to families for the purchase of textbooks is increased from 1,200 to 1,500 rubles. The authorities will spend 900 million rubles annually for this.
