Statisticians called average salary in Bashkiria

The average monthly nominal accrued salary in August this year reached 36 540 rubles in the republic. It is 6.4 percent more than in July 2018, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.

In general, in January-August of the current year, the average salary in the region, taking into account small business organizations, amounted to 35 645 rubles. This is 7.8 percent more than in January-August last year.

Traditionally, the highest paid areas in Bashkiria were “production of coke and oil products” - 74 955 rubles on average over eight months of this year, as well as “mining” and “production of chemicals and products” - 62 4480 and 53 907 rubles, respectively. The scientific and technical sphere was close to the conditional third place in the “salary rating” - 53,361 rubles.

And vice versa, those who were engaged in the production of leather and leather goods were paid the least - 13,912 rubles. Workers involved in the production of furniture and clothes received a little more in the republic - 15 523 and 18 849 rubles, respectively.

According to the latest data, the current workforce in Bashkiria exceeds 1.884 million people, 14.762 million people in the Volga Federal District, 75.541 million people nationwide.
