Radiy Khabirov visited Zatonskaya CHPP

Zatonskaya CHPP began its work in 2018 and became the most significant investment project in the modern history of the energy system of Bashkortostan. Twenty-two billion rubles were invested in the construction of the CHPP. The development of a heating power plant began in 2008, but two years later it was frozen. At the end of 2014, the Government of Russia agreed to transfer the project for the construction of power units under the power supply agreement from Verkhnetagilskaya CHPP in the Sverdlovsk Region to the Zatonskaya CHPP in Ufa. Construction was resumed in July 2015, and the combined heat and power plant was commissioned in March 2018. Today, the Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov visited it as part of his working trip to the Ufa district. The general director of LLC Bashkir Generating Company Alexander Simanovsky conducted a short tour of the CHPP, told the head of the region about its capabilities.

According to Simanovsky, the commissioning of the Zatonskaya CHPP made it possible to eliminate the capacity shortage in the Ufa energy center, which amounted to about 300-350 MW, and to ensure reliable energy and heat supply to Ufa and the surrounding territories. Besides, the capacity of the new CHPP will provide heat to 2.5-3 million square meters of housing. This is especially important in terms of the Zabelye neighborhood development plans. Thus, Zatonskaya CHPP became a generator of new housing construction in this area.

Radiy Khabirov visited the CHPP control room. One of the station’s employees said that the power plant was the most high-tech in the republic, while all the equipment was produced at Russian enterprises. The automated control system is also of a domestic brand.
