Bashkiria took third place among regions in number of domestic cars

Bashkiria took third place in the Top 10 Russian regions in the number of cars of domestic brands, according to the Avtostat analytical agency. As of July 1, 618.3 thousand vehicles produced by the domestic auto industry are registered in the republic.

The Krasnodar Territory (764.7 thousand cars) is in first place in the ranking, Moscow Region (651.1 thousand cars) is in second place, and Bashkortostan (618.3 thousand units) is in third place. Moscow takes the fourth position: there are 590.9 thousand passenger cars of domestic brands in the capital.

At the beginning of July, 16.6 million passenger cars of domestic brands were registered in Russia - this is 37.6% of the total fleet. It is noted that among the regions that are in the Top 10, the largest share of cars of domestic brands is operated in Dagestan (74.1%). Total, there are 22 regions in our country where there are more domestic brands of cars than foreign ones.
