Payments for first and second child will increase since 2020

Since 2020, Russia will increase monthly payments for the first and second child, TASS reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Labor.

Thus, if this year the size of payments is 11.2 thousand rubles, then from next year it will amount to exactly 12 thousand rubles.

The increase in payments is carried out as part of the project "Financial support for families at the birth of children."

The increase in material assistance to families is also associated with an extension of the period for paying monthly benefits for the first and second children from one and a half to three years.

Thus, each family in three years will receive about 430 thousand rubles.
