Heavy river-sea transport vehicle with three thousand tons of grain left Bashkiria for first time

Ilishevsky Elevator LLC made a departure f the heavy river-sea transport vehicle for the first time. The vessel is capable of loading three thousand tons of grain. The Belaya River bottom on the 20-kilometer stretch from the village of Azyakul, Aktanyshsky district of Tatarstan, to the village of Gruzdevka, Ilishevsky district of Bashkortostan was deepened to send the valuable cargo along the river.

The elevator has its pier and loaders. In 2018, 47.9 thousand tons of grain on 27 barges were exported from here. In 2019 - seven barges and 14 thousand tons of grain. The elevator capacity is 100 thousand tons of grain. Wheat, barley, rye, oats, and oilseeds are mostly exported from here. Grain transshipment takes place in the ports of Rostov-on-Don and Astrakhan. Total, 588 thousand tons of grain were shipped from Bashkiria in 2018.
