Despite the most challenging harvesting campaign in the last ten years, the grain harvest in Bashkiria, instead of the projected 3.1 million tons, amounted to 3.3 million tons. It was announced at a briefing session in the republican government by the Interim Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
This year, the average grain yield in the republic exceeded 20 centners per hectare, which is six percent more than in 2018.
Chekmagushevsky district was the leader in productivity well ahead of the other districts. Here, 41 hectares of grain per hectare were collected.
In Aurgazinsky, Sterlitamaksky, Karmaskalinsky districts, grain yield was also much higher than the average republican value - 29 centners per hectare. The farmers of the Chishminsky district were not far behind with 28 hectares of grain from each hectare.
Record grain yield for the republic falls on the agricultural enterprise "Bazy" of the Chekmagushevsky district. 50 centners per hectare were collected here this year, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov stated.
“Last year we collected 3 million tons, this year - 3.3 million. We have agreed that by 2024 we will reach a crop of 4 million tons - the task is not simple, but feasible. We will continue to support our agrarians”, summed up the head of the republic Radiy Khabirov at a briefing in the government.
