As Bashinform News Agency reported, the “five-year” decree of the head of the region covers most sectors of the economy and areas of socio-economic development of Bashkortostan. Conventionally, it can be divided into two key components - demographic and economic.
Thus, according to demography, the task is set for the next five years to increase the growth in the number of permanent residents of the republic to 4.1 million people.
As for the economic sector, the task here is to increase the gross regional product (GRP) from 1.5 to 2 trillion rubles.
“Investments in fixed assets are 270 billion rubles now. The goal of the decree is to increase them to at least 500 billion rubles”, noted at a meeting of the Investment Council of Bashkortostan, Interim Deputy Prime Minister of the Republican Government Andrei Nazarov.
At the same time, it will be necessary to double the pace of the regional economy. Today's pace of the economy will not make it possible to implement the plans, the meeting stated.
The decree on the strategic directions of the socio-economic development of Bashkortostan also provides for the construction of more than 700 different facilities, most of which are social.
Besides, housing provision in the republic is planned to be increased from the existing 24 to 27.7 square meters per person. More than 3 thousand apartment buildings should have overhaul repairs.
The development of the agricultural complex of Bashkortostan provides for the construction of 21 dairy farms, ten feedlots for 50 thousand cattle places, ten commercial distribution centers for the storage, processing, and sale of agricultural products, the purchase of 3 thousand tractors and 1.5 thousand combines.
The transport system development was also considered at the meeting. Among the planned objects are the construction of three main bridge crossings, the Agidel cargo and river port, the expansion of the Ufa-Orenburg road, and the repair of 560 kilometers of urban city roads.
It is also planned to increase the number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from 130 to 170 thousand. Two special economic zones are now being created in the region to this end, which should give at least 3 thousand new jobs.
In the five existing priority development areas (PDAs), it is planned to attract more than 100 new residents with the creation of 6.5 thousand new high-performance jobs.
Also, the plans of the republican government include the creation of 50 technology parks. In agriculture, it is planned to involve 20 thousand residents of Bashkortostan in 500 agricultural cooperatives. The number of companies working for export is planned to increase to 1.4 thousand. It will be done to double the volume of non-resource exports.
“We are now creating unique conditions for working in the Russian Federation. We are confident that it will be safe, comfortable and profitable to work in Bashkortostan, ” Interim Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Andrei Nazarov concluded.
