Deadlines for commissioning Ufa domestic airlines terminal are announced

The reconstruction of the domestic airline terminal at the Ufa International Airport is scheduled to be completed on March 31, 2020. This was announced at a meeting in the “Transport Hour” format by the General Director of the airport Alexander Andreev.

After the reconstruction, the terminal area will increase by 35 percent, which will allow serving 1,200 passengers per hour.

“Reconstruction is underway at the conditions of the operating airport. At the first stage, it is planned to build a three-story building with an area of 12.5 thousand square meters, equipped with two telescopic ramps, two baggage handling lines. The arrivals sector and the departures sector for domestic passengers will also be expanded. The completion of the reconstruction will allow serving at least 3 million air passengers on domestic airlines, taking into account the areas used in the international terminal - 3.5 million passengers, ” Alexander Andreev marked.

After the reconstruction, nine telescopic ramps will be available at the Ufa airport.

2.4 billion rubles were allocated for the reconstruction, of which 84 percent were the airport’s own funds, 500 million rubles were directed from the republican budget.
