Ufa has improved indicators in rating of salaries since last year

RIA Rating experts calculated the ratio of average salaries to the cost of a standard consumer set in the 100 largest cities of Russia issuing from Rosstat’s data. Ufa in the rating of regions in terms of salary took 24th place in 2019. The average salary is calculated at 2.31 of the standard consumer set, which includes food, manufactured goods, clothing, equipment, expenses for transportation and leisure, as well as utilities, telecommunications, and legal services. The average monthly net salary in the first half of 2019 amounted to 42.4 thousand rubles.

In 2018, the average net salary per month in the first half of the year was 38.2 thousand rubles, and Ufa ranked 29th in the ranking of Russian cities in terms of salaries.

The highest salary in 2019, adjusted for prices, was recorded in Moscow: 3.83 sets of goods and services can be bought for the average salary here. Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk was in second - the ratio is 3.81. The average salary in Moscow in the first half of the year was 97 thousand rubles, in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - 90.6 thousand. The last places in the rating went to the capitals of the North Caucasian republics.

According to experts, the low level of salaries is explained by the peculiarities of the local economy and the low level of official salaries.

According to preliminary data from Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, per capita cash income in the 2nd quarter of 2019 amounted to 27.7 thousand rubles in the republic.
