Subsidies to be allocated for built-up areas development in regions - Yakushev

The Russian Ministry of Construction has put forward an initiative regarding the allocation of subsidies to regions for the development of built-up territories. It was announced in Ufa at a meeting with major developers of Bashkiria by the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev.

This, in particular, is about amending the federal law "On the Fund for Assistance to Reforming Housing and Public Utilities" No. 185-FZ.

“We are saying that the Fund for Assistance to Reforming Housing and Public Utilities will begin to allocate subsidies to the regions for the development of already built-up territories. Now the bill is undergoing discussion in the State Duma, but we very much look forward to its adoption before the new year, ”said Vladimir Yakushev, answering a question from the Bashinform News Agency.

As Vladimir Yakushev emphasized at a meeting with developers of Bashkiria, one of the unresolved problems today is that property owners are in no hurry to sell it, they are waiting for potential developers to offer them a higher price. As a result, the same factory territories, as a rule, are idle in the city center. Developers cannot put them into operation, build new housing in these territories.

“We will definitely try to revisit this topic and solve the existing problem,” Vladimir Yakushev promised the builders of the republic.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the Minist Construction, Housing and Public Utilities of Russia Vladimir Yakushev, who arrived on a working visit to Bashkiria, commended the work of the republic’s construction industry.
