Russia will distribute the smart grids, digital solution practices in the power grid complex to cities and regions of the country, RIA Novosti reports the message of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the “Russian Energy Week” in Moscow.

“Russia is actively using digital solutions in the power grid complex. Pilot projects of smart grids were launched in Kaliningrad, Ufa, Belgorod. Based on the results, we will distribute this experience to other cities and regions of the Russian Federation, ”Putin said at the forum. According to him, Russia has one of the cleanest energy balances in the world. “Few people even know about this: more than a third of our power generation falls on hydro and nuclear energy, another 50% - on gas,” the head of state said, TASS reports.
