Grain harvest exceeded 3 million tons in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops is under completion. The main part of the campaign fell on rainy weather, which complicated the work of farmers. “The harvesting rate is currently low due to waterlogging of the fields,” the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs.

However, even before the end of the harvesting period, the harvest exceeded 3 million tons. Now 94% of the cultivated area has been cut.

The yield of grain this year averaged 19.8 kg/ha - higher than last year.

In the next ten days, farmers plan to finish harvesting grain. The fieldwork will not end there - harvesting of sunflower and other oil crops, sugar beets continues.
