Bashkiria enterprise recognized as best "Exporter of Year" in Volga Federal District

The All-Russian Prize “Exporter of the Year” in the field of international cooperation and export was handed over at the 2nd Interregional Export Forum in the Volga Federal District. Among the winners is a company from Bashkiria, the press service of the republican government informs.

The first place in the “New Geography” nomination was taken by the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, which produces competitive versatile products of small-tonnage chemistry, high-octane additives, and synthetic rubber.

According to the General Director of the Russian Export Center Andrei Slepnev, the Volga Federal District occupies a worthy place in the list of exporters, introducing into the foreign markets both world-famous products and new export goods and services that find their customers in all continents.

Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin in his Address to the Federal Assembly said that Russian non-oil exports should double export within six years and reach a volume of $ 250 billion a year.
