Labor productivity in Bashkiria will increase at least 2.3% by end of year

UFA, 1 October 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
Forty-two industrial, construction and agricultural enterprises of Bashkiria became participants of the national project on labor productivity and employment support tasked by Russian President Vladimir Putin. By the end of October, it is planned to involve at least another 8-10 enterprises in the project, according to the republican Ministry of Economic Development.
Bashkiria in 2019 should ensure an increase in labor productivity by 2.3% to the level of 2018 and a 60% share of enterprises of the total number of participants where labor productivity growth meets the target indicators.
“This year the region should attract 50 enterprises to participate in the project to achieve the established targets. To date, agreements on participation in the national project have been concluded with 42 organizations. Our Regional Competence Center concluded agreements to supervise 11 enterprises. Of these, projects for the implementation of a lean manufacturing system at three enterprises are being completed, ”the Interim Minister of Economic Development of Bashkiria Lilia Mazitova underlined.
At the moment, 324 employees of enterprises participating in the project passed training in the principles of lean manufacturing. By the end of the year, another 246 people are to be trained.
OJSC “Synthez-Kauchuk” is among the enterprises that recently became participants in the national project for increasing labor productivity.
In February last year, the company became a member of the regional program to increase labor productivity and employment support. Due to the introduction of lean manufacturing tools at Synthez-Kauchuk, the number of consumer complaints has fallen markedly.
Besides, in one of the workshops, work was done to reduce the number of unplanned equipment shutdowns, as well as to reduce foreign matter in rubber briquettes. As a result: less rejects and non-standard items processing.
The enterprises participating in this national project can take advantage of the expert support in the field of labor productivity when implementing projects to optimize production processes.
Support is also provided in the form of a soft loan from the Federal Industrial Development Fund from 50 to 300 million rubles at 1% per annum for a period of five years.
Another tool to support enterprises is to assist in the development of their export potential, including under the “Export Accelerator” program.
