Global discussion platform on SMEs development will be created following SCO and BRICS forums

The Fifth Forum of Small and Medium Businesses of SCO and BRICS Member States Regions has come to an end. It gathered 2800 participants, of which 200 international – from more than 30 countries of the world. Ufa for several days, from September 25 to 27, has become a real center of small and medium-sized enterprises of the entire SCO and BRICS space.

“It is not only a solemn event where people knowing each other meet, but it is also an opportunity to discuss cooperation prospects, find new solutions for comfortable work of the SCO and BRICS countries business,” said the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov on the opening day of the Ufa Forum.

The forum offered new formats of interaction that provide continuous, systematic work to support business, including the SCO and BRICS International Entrepreneurs Club and the Association of Regions of the participating countries. Besides, the Forum Directorate will soon begin operating to develop decisions made by the delegates.

The forum also initiated a creation of the Youth Parliament of the SCO and BRICS countries - a Memorandum of cooperation was signed between organizations developing youth parliamentary system and youth participation in managing state affairs, which had been prepared by members of the Youth Parliament of the State Duma of Russia.

Total, during the fifth anniversary Forum of the SCO and BRICS countries, nine agreements were concluded, including:

- Memorandum of Cooperation between organizations developing youth parliamentary system and youth participation in the management of state affairs of the BRICS and SCO countries and the Eurasian space;

- Framework Cooperation Agreement in the field of the services ecosystem between the Chongqing Heqing industrial company and the multifunctional platform of the Joint Business Cooperation Center of the SCO and BRICS countries;

- Framework Cooperation Agreement in the field of the services ecosystem between Chongqing Heqing and the Joint Business Cooperation Center of St. Petersburg;

- Agreement between the Republic of Bashkortostan and the All-Russian public organization “Business Russia”;

- Framework Cooperation Agreement in the field of the services ecosystem between the general director of Zhou Shihao, LLC “Chongqing Heqing Industrial Group of Companies” and the head of the Office of the Joint Business Cooperation Center of the SCO countries, Alexander Beda;

- Agency Agreement to represent the interests of the State Committee of Bashkortostan for Foreign Economic Relations in the Republic of Turkey between the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Foreign Economic Relations and the Republic of Turkey;

- Cooperation Agreement between the municipality of the urban district of Urla, Izmir Province (Turkish Republic) and the administration of the city of Sibay;
