A garbage-sorting center is planned to be erected in Baimak

A garbage-sorting center, estimated at 540 million rubles, is planned to be constructed in the town of Baimak. The company “Eco-City” introduced the future project to local administration. The center’s capacity s meant for processing of 100 thousand tons of waste per year. Overall volume of investments will exceed 540 million rubles, the company reported. The project includes a sorting line, polygon, a workshop for composting organic waste and will give 102 new workplaces. Budgets of different levels will receive almost 660 million rubles of additional payments during ten years. At present time Bashkir Trans-Urals face serious shortage of such waste-sorting centers. There are no either up-to-date polygons or combustion plants here and new center’s capacities will be enough to cover several districts.
