Grants of Bashkiria’s Head to be introduced for Republican colleges

Bashkir Ministry for education offers to open special grants of the Head of Bashkortostan for colleges, acting Minister for education RB Aibulat Khazin reported. “We offer to open grants of Bashkortostan’s Head for modernization of infrastructure of professional educational organizations – 10 grants, 5 million rubles each, every year” – he stated. “It is quite clear our best colleges will go on taking part in federal grant contests, thereby modernizing their sites at the expense of federal subventions, but some Republican colleges, located in countryside and small towns, need local support. They can’t hope for federal grants but at the same time they fulfill quite important social function, teaching orphans, children with restricted capabilities and at the same time remaining social and cultural centers in Bashkir regions”.
