Grain yield exceeds 100 thousand tons in five regions of Bashkiria

Harvesting of grain and leguminous cultures is going on in the Republic. By September 11 agrarians have harvested 70% of all fields and thrashed 2,3 million tons of grain. The highest crop capacity is still observed in pre-Ural steppe and southern forest-steppe zones. For example, while average Republican crop capacity makes 19,8 centners per hectare, in Checkmagushevsky region it is almost two times higher. The highest gross grain harvest is also observed in Checkmagushevsky region RB and local farmers have already thrashed 130,4 thousand tons of grain there, Ministry of agriculture RB reports.
