Russian Railways will launch train connection between Ufa and Kazan

Direct railway connection between Kazan and Ufa will be restored, Realnoe Vremya reports.

The route will appear from December 9, 2019, it follows from the schedule of Russian Railways. From Kazan to Ufa you can get on even days, and in the opposite direction on odd days. Total travel time is approximately 21 hours.

Direct train cars will be included in trains on the routes: Kazan - Samara, Moscow - Chelyabinsk, Ufa - St. Petersburg, Samara - Kazan. They will be coupled into the trains in Ulyanovsk.

In 2017, the launch of direct trains from Ufa to Kazan was recognized as unprofitable.
