The total amount of funds held in the accounts of Russians is about 512 billion rubles. The data of 90 banks were analyzed by the Deposit Insurance Agency.

Total, there are 1 million 598 thousand depositors, of which 40.7 percent are aged 25 to 50 years.

Russians over 60 years old have the largest amount of deposits. The average amount is 455 thousand rubles.

Investors aged 50 to 60 years keep an average of 377 thousand rubles, from 25 to 50 years - 202 thousand rubles, up to 25 years - 128 thousand rubles.
