Agricultural export may reach $230 million in Bashkiria

The development of export of goods will favorably affect the development of agriculture in Bashkortostan, said Interim Deputy Prime Minister of the Republican Government - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

“We made a commitment to export agricultural products for $ 230 million by 2024. This is quite an achievable figure for us”, he said.

The regional program “Export of agricultural products In Bashkortostan Republic” is implemented as part of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” developed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, yesterday they started to accept applications from agricultural producers exporting products to conclude agreements on improving competitiveness.

The main essence of such agreements is to increase the volume of agricultural production by providing preferential loans to potential and current exporters of agricultural products.

Reception of applications by the Ministry will last till December 27 this year.

Meanwhile, already now the Bashkiria Export Support Center is inviting representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to a specialized course of seminars on basics of export activity.

Total, 11 workshops are planned before the end of the year.

The first seminar on the basics of export activities will be held on September 10.
