Regions with highest teacher salaries are named in Russia

In Russia, the regions with the highest and lowest salaries of teachers were named. The Kommersant publication, referring to Rosstat, cites the level of teacher earnings in different parts of the country.

Thus, the average salary of an education worker is 31 thousand 361 rubles in Bashkiria, the average salary over the region is 29 thousand 779 rubles, the ratio is 105 percent.

In Moscow, teachers are paid 89 thousand 644 rubles, the salary in the capital is 70 thousand 680 rubles, the ratio is 127 percent.

In neighboring Tatarstan, teachers earn an average of 38 thousand 409 rubles, residents receive 30 thousand 949 rubles in the region on average, the ratio is 124 percent.

Bashkiria in terms of salaries took 47th place in this industry. The republic ranked 52nd in the ratio of teacher salary to the average salary.

Teachers earn most of all in the Chukotka Autonomous District - 96.47 thousand rubles, which is 6 percent higher than the average monthly salary in the region. The top five also includes the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District (91.3 thousand, 7% higher than average), Moscow (89.64 thousand rubles, 27% higher than average), Sakhalin (84.78 thousand, 22%) and Magadan region (79.54 thousand, 15%).
