Meeting on REC activities created in Bashkiria was held at USATU

Ufa State Aviation Technical University was visited by Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Scientific and Educational Policy, who arrived in Ufa at the 12th All-Russian Congress on Fundamental Problems of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. Sekirinsky chose the competencies of Ufa State Aviation Technical University of all the universities of Bashkiria – participants of REC (a world-class Research and Educational Center that is being created in the republic). His attention was attracted by a module of promising foundry technologies with robotic equipment, which has no analogs in the country, a 3D-visualization laboratory.

The tour continued at the Nanotech Central Design Bureau, Electromechanics Design Bureau and the unique museum of aircraft engines. USATU Rector Professor Nikolai Krioni and Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Georgy Ageev made a presentation on the capabilities of USATU as the organizer of the scientific and educational unit of the REC “Digital Technologies and New Materials to Improve the Efficiency of Production, Transport and Deep Processing of Hydrocarbon Raw Materials”.
