Radiy Khabirov held visiting meeting of Investment Committee in Blagoveshchensk

The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a visiting meeting of the Investment Committee in the format of “Investment Hour” as part of his working trip. The meeting reviewed the projects proposed for implementation in the Blagoveshchensk district. According to the Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy RB Alexei Karpukhin, the economy of the region is developing steadily. Over the first half of the year, industrial enterprises of the municipality shipped goods worth 10 billion rubles, which is 1.7 percent higher than for the same period last year. The implementation of several major investment projects is ongoing. Attracting investment is promoted by the status of the priority development area (PDA) assigned to Blagoveshchensk in February. Thus, in the first quarter of 2019, 820 million rubles were attracted to the city economy from all sources of financing.

Besides, Bashkortostan Development Corporation JSC, together with the district administration, selected two potential sites in the territory of Blagoveshchensk with an area of ​​25 hectares and 10 hectares for the industrial park. The park project is included in the list of priority investment projects of the republic. According to the interim head of the Blagoveshchensk district administration Oleg Golov, total this year it is planned to register four PDA residents.

During the meeting of the Investment Committee, the General Director of Starshine Petroleum and Chemical Ufa LLC Marcel Timerbaev presented a project for creating a blading and packaging site for mastic filler to enrich road bitumen with various polymers and improve their properties. As a support measure, the inclusion of the project in the list of PDA residents was approved.

Airat Gibadullin, a representative of Master Champ company, spoke about the construction of a full-cycle champignon cultivation complex in Blagoveshchensk. A project worth 2.4 billion rubles provides for the creation of a mushroom farm with a capacity of up to 10 thousand tons of champignons per year, as well as a compost plant for the production of a substrate for growing cultivated mushrooms.

The farm project was presented at the Monotown Development Fund; a soft loan was previously approved for it.
