Bashkiria spends 7 billion rubles annually on sick pays

In Bashkiria, it was proposed to develop a unified program for all departments to promote a healthy lifestyle, since the region spends about 7 billion rubles on the payment of sick leaves, according to statistics from the Social Insurance Fund of the republic. It was announced at the "Health Hour" session by the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Lenara Ivanova.

According to preliminary data, the functions of creating and promoting a healthy lifestyle program and various anti-tobacco, anti-alcohol and anti-stress campaigns will be assigned to a specially created coordination council. The Prime Minister of Bashkiria can lead it.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the republic should save by 40 times more people to reach 80 years of life expectancy by 2030.
