91 thousand tons of grain of winter crops were harvested in Bashkortostan

Farmers of the republic threshed almost 91 thousand tons of grain of winter crops, with a yield of 21.5 centners per hectare. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB.

According to the Agricultural Consulting Center on August 5, winter wheat amounted to 53 thousand tons. Rye threshed 37 thousand tons, triticale - 0.4. The inclement weather established in the whole republic stopped the winter harvesting process.

The highest rates are observed in areas of the Ural steppe, where a quarter of all areas with winter crops have been harvested. Thus, in Zianchurinsky district, harvesting of autumn crops is completed by two-thirds. The Davlekanovsky district with an indicator of 19 thousand tons is the leader in gross threshing.
