Bashkiria Agriculture Ministry is ready to spend more than 60 million rubles on land irrigation

This year, more than 60 million rubles (35.2 million from the federal and 30 million from the republican budget) were allocated for the development of land irrigation in Bashkiria. This amount is supposed to install irrigation systems on 620 hectares of land. The costs of agricultural enterprises will be subsidized in the amount of 70%. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Agriculture. Specialists noted that only the north, northeast and northwest areas of the republic do not need additional watering.

One of the most advanced irrigation systems is installed on the lands of the company "A7 Agro-RB" in Zianchurinsky district. The company received 40 million subsidies for these purposes. According to the contract for cost recovery, the company must work for export, and A7 Agro intends to supply soy and corn abroad.

In Russia, artificial irrigation is used on 8% of the area. For comparison: in China - 55%, in the USA - 40%.
