Investment rose by 4.3% in Bashkiria

Data on investment indicators for the six months are expected to be known only in August, but for the first quarter, 40.2 billion rubles were invested in the economy of Bashkiria, which is 4.3 percent higher than the last year’s similar figures. “Investment Hour” sessions make a significant contribution to these figures. Since the beginning of the year, 71 investment projects with a total investment of more than 132 billion rubles and about 13 thousand jobs have been considered. This was announced today at a meeting of the Government RB by the Interim Deputy Prime Minister Ilshat Tazhitdinov. According to him, this year, for the first time, presentation stands of Bashkortostan were available at the All-Russian Investment Forum in Sochi and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Many successful meetings were held there. Agreements on the implementation of large investment projects for a record amount of about 122 billion rubles were concluded.

The Interim Vice-Prime Minister Raif Abdrakhimov, in turn, noted that since the beginning of the year, 172 industrial investment projects had been considered for a total of 709.9 billion rubles, which would create over 30,000 new jobs. In the construction industry, along with the growth in housing volumes, social infrastructure facilities are being built. For half a year, a sports training center in Ufa, a clinic in the Ilishevsky district, schools in Blagoveshchensk and Karaidelsky district, health-fitness and shopping complexes in the Ufa district, Blagoveshchensk, Beloretsk, and Neftekamsk were constructed in the republic. By the end of the year, 62 more social and cultural facilities are to be put into operation.
