Bashkiria delegation participates in Russian-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission

The delegation of Bashkortostan participates in the 16th meeting of the Mixed Intergovernmental Russian-Turkish Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, the press service of the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations RB reports.
The meeting takes place in Antalya, the official delegation of Bashkortostan takes part in it under the leadership of the Interim Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Head of the Government Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Tazhitdinov.
On July 25, Ilshat Tazhitdinov met with Aidar Gashigullin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Bashkortostan and Turkey. The positive trend of relations at both the official and business levels was marked.
“Currently, there are five areas of priority development in Bashkortostan, where investors are offered preferential conditions for business development,” said Ilshat Tazhitdinov and invited Turkish companies to consider becoming residents of these territories.
The issues of supporting republican enterprises when entering the Turkish market were also considered.
The head of the Bashkir delegation noted that on the instructions of the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, work was underway to open a representative office of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Turkey, which will start its activities in 2019.
On July 26, the delegation will continue to work at joint meetings of the Russian-Turkish and Turkish-Russian business councils, in which the participation of the co-chairs of the Mixed Intergovernmental Russian-Turkish Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation - the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and the Minister of Trade of Turkey Ruhsar Pekcan, is scheduled.
