Bashkiria will spend 5 billion rubles on healthcare as part of national project this year

The republic will spend 5 billion rubles for the implementation of the "Healthcare" national project in 2019. It is planned to replace 15 rural health posts in dilapidated condition at the expense of the budget of the republic. Four more rural medical stations will be purchased at the expense of federal funds. Eight contracts worth over 300 million rubles were concluded for re-equipment of vascular departments. Equipment is being delivered to medical institutions. Oncology departments of the republic will also receive medical facilities worth 257 million rubles.

“This week a new mammographer was delivered to the Republican Oncology Center. Development of design estimates for the construction of the Pediatric Oncology Center is underway. The construction of two polyclinics in the cities of Tuymazy and Dyurtyuli, the overhaul of 18 children's polyclinics and children's polyclinic institutions are being completed, ” the Interim Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin stated today at a “Healthcare Hour” session.

According to the head of the department, the demand for doctors and nurses in state medical organizations amounts to 1,150 people. From October 2018 to May 2019, the number of doctors increased by 230 people. The graduates from Bashkir State Medical University and specialists who completed residency training programs were distributed over them. Total 1,226 graduates in six specialties were employed there.
